The XEO laser and it’s Limelight and Prowave handpieces delivers different types of energy, depending on the treatment being performed. For example, in hair removal, the laser emits a specific wavelength of light that is absorbed by the pigment (melanin) in the hair follicles, damaging them during their growth phase and inhibiting future hair growth. In skin rejuvenation (ie Lasergenesis), the laser delivers energy to stimulate collagen and elastin production and improve skin texture and tone.
